We’re Back at Market—New Season, New Energy, New Connections.

Charlotte farm harvesting okra

Saturday, April 12th marks the official start of the 2025 market season—and we’ve had butterflies in our bellies just thinking about it!

Yes, we’re genuinely excited to step into this new growing season, overflowing with hope, purpose, and the joy of reconnection. As we return to the Uptown Farmers Market this Saturday, we can’t wait to see familiar faces—and welcome new ones— those who stop by our farm stand not just for fresh produce, but for conversation, community, and connection.

And there’s so much more to look forward to—youth joining us for Summer Camp, community members gathering for our upcoming farm-to-table dinner, and curious minds attending our on-farm workshops. Every visit, every conversation, every shared meal is a chance to build something beautiful together.

We are also moving in our fifth year as a farm business—a journey built on perseverance, purpose, and deep community connection. We recognize that many are feeling the weight of the world right now—the anxiety and uncertainty of our social and political times. That is real. But we also know this: what we plant, nurture, and harvest together is powerful.

Farming asks us to be flexible, to stay grounded, to keep showing up. And in return, it gives us something steady to hold on to. We plan to keep showing up for our community and cultivate strong connections that no one can disrupt. There is a West African proverb that reminds us:  “Love does not lose its way home. Those led by love always end up in the right place.” Our continued connection is a powerful compass that will move us all in the right direction. Clearly focused on what matters most —love for the land, for people, and for the vision of a food system rooted in justice, health, and belonging. Stepping into the 2025 seasons, we will continue to carry our light for people and root our intention in love. And that love keeps leading us home.

This week’s harvest

Arugula, butter lettuce heads, romaine lettuce, lettuce mix, celery, cabbage, chard, kale, carrots, radishes, and mustard greens.  We’ve also have oyster and shitake mushrooms, Herbs: cilantro, chives, parsley, mint, oregano, dill, and lovage.  We also have our signature ginger mint lemonade drinks to share.

Welcome Spring 2025 CSA Members!

To all of our Spring 2025 CSA members—welcome and thank you. We’re honored that you’ve chosen to be a part of this season with us. Your first share will be ready for pick-up this Saturday, and we’re excited for you to experience what’s been growing with care on our land. This program is not just a way to get fresh produce—it’s an investment in community, health, and a regenerative food system.

Remember we are offering 2 pick up locations: on the farm and at the Uptown Farmers Market.
