Welcome to Deep Roots CPS Farm Youth Summer Camp! We invite youth ages 8-18 to trade their screens for sunshine. Located at our urban farm in NorthWest Charlotte, our camp offers a rare opportunity to learn where food comes from, how to care for the earth, and the value of working with your hands.

From seed to harvest, campers connect with nature, build confidence, and enjoy a healthy, farm-fresh lunch every single day.

About the Camp

Deep Roots CPS Farm Youth Summer Camp offers a week long immersive experience for youth ages 8-18, located at our urban farm nestled in the heart of Charlotte, NC. This camp is designed to provide children with hands-on learning experiences, outdoor exploration, and meaningful farm activities . No need to pack a lunch! We provide a nutritious, delicious meal every day using ingredients grown right here on the farm.

Camp Highlights

• Educational Workshops: Learn about urban agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and where food comes from.

• Hands-on Farm Stewardship: Kids don't just watch; they participate. Campers learn responsibility and biology by helping care for the land, planting seeds, and tending to animals.

  Our Philosophy Note: We intentionally keep our age range open (8-18) to foster a true community environment. We encourage cross-generational connections where learning happens simultaneously, older youth build leadership skills while mentoring younger campers, and everyone works together toward a common harvest.
