Inheritance: A Farm-to-Table Dinner

Sunday, November 1, 2026 | Deep Roots CPS Farm, Monroe, NC

Some things are inherited without ever being written down.

A grandmother’s technique. A dish that appears at every family celebration. A flavor connected to a place you came from, or perhaps a place you have never seen. A method learned while standing beside someone who is no longer here.

On Sunday, November 1, we invite you to join us at our Monroe farm for Inheritance: A Farm-to-Table Dinner, an unforgettable afternoon of food, storytelling, culinary heritage, and community.

Six chefs will gather at the farm, each creating food inspired by something they inherited: a recipe, a technique, a person, a place, or a culinary tradition that helped shape the way they cook today. Those stories will meet what is growing here, with a farm-forward menu centered around our late-fall harvest.

The afternoon begins with chef-prepared small bites, drinks, conversation, and time to experience the farm. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy lead-line horse rides hosted by the Charlotte Cowboys, adding another memorable connection to the land and the spirit of the farm. Guests will then gather beneath our covered farm pavilion for a family-style dinner, where platters are passed around the table and, throughout the meal, each chef will share the story behind what they have prepared.

You will taste the dish. You will hear where it came from. And perhaps you will leave remembering something of your own.

Doors open at 2:30 PM, and dinner begins at 3:15 PM.

Come hungry. Leave carrying something with you.
