Sunday Farm Tours at Deep Roots CPS Farm
For a long time, people have asked when they can simply come walk the farm. Not as part of a school group or a church outing, but as themselves, with a partner, a friend, or their kids. Sunday Farm Tours are our answer.
Twice a month, on the first and fourth Sunday, we open the gates to the public for a guided walk through Deep Roots CPS Farm. You will meet the people, the soil, and the animals behind the food. You will hear how a Black family built a working farm in North-West Charlotte, what regenerative agriculture actually looks like up close, and why we believe food sovereignty has to live somewhere real.
Each tour is capped at 25 guests so the experience stays personal.
Tour Schedule
1st & 4th Sunday of the month. Tours will run at 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm.
Season: June through October.

Guided Exploration
Enjoy a 90 minute guided tour through our 7-acre farmstead led by a member of our knowledgeable team. Learn about our innovative farming practices, from crop cultivation to animal care, and discover the stories behind our journey as first-generation farmers.
Meet the Animals
Get an up-close look at our chickens, goats, and other animals, and learn about their roles in our farm ecosystem.
Community & Sustainability
The values that shape how we work. Stewardship of the land, dignity for everyone who eats and labors, and a real vision for community food systems in Charlotte. Tours end at the farm stand, where guests can shop fresh produce, black garlic, mint ginger lemonade, t-shirts, and other farm goods
What to Expect
This is an all-outdoor tour on a working farm with pathways through garden beds, animal enclosures, and field areas. Come prepared with closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Reservations are required. Sunday tours fill up quickly, especially in peak season, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Please book at least 48 hours in advance using the link below.

Spend an afternoon on the land. Walk the rows, meet the team, and see how we grow at the Primm Road site. Tours run Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
Good to Know
Tours run in light rain. We will contact you directly if severe weather requires a reschedule.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance receive a full refund. Inside 72 hours, we are happy to transfer your reservation to another available Sunday.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in at the farm gate.
